Gwen Withrow is a patriotic, servant-hearted woman that has humbly served the Republican Party in numerous capacities over the past decade. Without the desire to run for higher office, Gwen seeks to make the Montgomery County Republican Party the great beacon of conservatism that it should be. Uniting the Republican Party in the county is essential for success in future elections, and Gwen is willing and able to do the job.

As the founder of the Spindletop Republican Women’s club, Gwen was named one of the Top 10 Republican Women in Texas due to the rapid growth of the club. Her success in Jefferson County was born out of humble beginnings as a precinct chair. She quickly worked her way up, becoming the chair of the finance committee, where her 20-years’experience as a certified public accountant (CPA) was a great asset.

Gwen’s desire to learn, paired with her incredible ability to work with others, made her successful as she worked alongside three different party chairmen. Her unique set of skills have not gone unnoticed. Gwen currently serves on the State Republican Executive Committee (SREC), representing Senate District 4 (SD-4). She has been a dedicated member of the SREC and was elected to the Officials Committee by her peers.

After a successful career as a CPA, including 20 years as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a two-year college, Gwen is still looking for ways to serve those around her. Outside of her unwavering support of the Republican Party, Gwen currently serves as the local Regent for the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). She is also a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.

Gwen is a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. Driven by the love for her God, family, and country, Gwen is ready to unite the party and secure the blessings of liberty for generations to come.
